| Victor is a registered paint gelding. He is about 16.5 hands tall and is truly a gentle giant. He is now 26 years old. We borrowed Victor from 2003 to 2005 then had to give him back to his owner. He has always been a very good boy. We kept checking on him and telling his owner that we would love to have him back. On December 6, 2007 we found Victor in a field about 10 miles from our house. He was about 300 pounds underweight. He looked so sad standing there...like he had given up on life. I saw him and immediately called his name. His ears perked up and he came running !!!! We were so happy to have found him, yet so sad to find him being neglected :-( We bought him that day and brought him back home where he belongs. He was Brio's friend which makes him even more special to us. Now, Victor is gaining weight and is being ridden lightly again by Kaylee (our 6 yr old). He has something to keep living for now and is just as healthy and happy as he was before. He now rules Lay Z Acres......well, he is 2nd in charge because we all know that Thumbelina is the one that is really in charge !!!! Keep checking back for updates on Victor. The kids hope to get him fattened back up and giving them rides again...... |
